EXPERIENCE THE CULTURE - The Rose Center Theater is a 411 seat proscenium theater located inside the Westminster Rose Center, directly across from the Westminster Civic Center. Productions for 2014 include Phantom of the Opera, Oliver, and 101 Dalmatians. And Crystal Rose Catering at the Westminster Rose Center, a convention/banquet center, provides professional and affordable food and beverage catering services to meet the needs of business and social event clients. Whether it's an 800+ guest gala, a wedding and/or reception, corporate events, or an intimate cocktail reception, they do it all.
 
To the north of the Rose Center is Coastline Community College's Le-Jao Center. It's classes and programs includes free tutoring for its students where they can study, receive assistance from a tutor, and use the computers and resources to help students achieve their goals at Coastline.
 
Westminster-CA A-Great-Place-To-VisitTo the south of the Rose Center is the Sid Goldstein Memorial Park, home to the Vietnam War Memorial in Westminster. The memorial is a tribute to all who served in that arena.Westminster Rose Center is home to two great venues.
 
Little Saigon, only a mile and a half from the Civic Center, is a showcase of the Vietnamese culture. Find the specialty foods, gifts, and plants of Asia. Discover the herb shops, delicatessens, arts and crafts, bakeries, restaurants, and supermarkets characteristic of Thai, Cambodian, Laotian, Caucasian, French, and Vietnamese cultures. Here visitors can experience multicultural and culinary delights, shop amid Asian antiques, and have an adventure exploring Asian specialty shops of designer shoes, custom-made suits, gems and jewelry, gourmet foods, and unparalleled bargains.
 
SHOP HERE - With two shopping malls, numerous shopping centers, and the many store fronts along the main thoroughfares, there's plenty of shopping for everyone in Westminster. Westminster Mall has a great list of national chains, local shops, and restaurants is at the 405 Freeway and Golden West Street/Bolsa Avenue Exit (Exit 18). Don't be shy on taking the kids, Westminster Mall offers monthly free kid events, family and community events as well as various enthusiast activities such as the Newport Harbor Orchid Society’s bi-annual Orchid Expo and Sale, held in February and July.  Asian Garden Mall—containing the largest gold mart under one roof in Orange County—is in the heart of Little Saigon just east of and Magnolia Street on Bolsa Avenue.
 
PLAY HERE - In the spring and summer there's no better place to cool off and in the fall and winter not better place to get into the spirit of the seasons than in The Rinks-Westminster Ice! Whether it's ice skating, ice hockey, or curling,The Rinks-Westminster Ice is the perfect venue. For those who love to fly, the destination is Sky Zone, the world’s first indoor trampoline park and the inventors of “fun fitness” and the makers of trampolines as far as the eye can see.

DINE HERE - Hungry visitors can find nationally known restaurants including TGI Fridays, Dunkin' Donuts, or hometown cafes like Uncle Pete's Cafe. Others may want to experience the rich ethnic cuisine like that offered by the Grand Garden (Chinese/Vietnamese), or Pho Quang Trung Restaurant (Vietnamese). Whatever type of food you are looking for, great dining places are abundant. The difficult part is narrowing down your choices. Of course you don't want to miss dessert! Choose Baskin-Robbins at Westminster Center or one of the many bakeries in Little Saigon.
 
LIVE HERE - Westminster was named an All-America City, an honor given to cities that improve the quality of life in their communities with innovative programs affecting all walks of life. Summer Concerts in the Park, an undertaking by the Kiwanis Club of Westminster to build a Little League Challenger Division baseball field in the city, the annual Tet Parade, or any of the Community Services & Recreation Department's many classes offered might make one want to live here.  And with the affordable housing prices, the low local tax rate, and the many service clubs and organizations that offer venues of expression for the residents of Westminster, this is the place to live.
